Former Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren and ex-JMM legislator Lobin Hembrom have joined the BJP, citing dissatisfaction with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's (JMM) current functioning. Both moves come amid internal party conflicts, with Hembrom disqualified from the Jharkhand assembly and previously contesting as an independent. BJP state chief Babulal Marandi welcomed them into the party.
