West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing the Central Government of not taking her concerns on punishments for men who rape and murder women seriously. She stated that the response from the Ministry of Women and Child Development was inadequate and did not address the gravity of the issue.
