West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has again urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consider a stringent central legislation on rape, pointing out the state's efforts in women's safety. She highlighted the functioning of Fast Track Special Courts and criticized the lack of response to her efforts. BJP's Sukanta Majumdar questioned the implementation of these measures.
