The Enforcement Directorate has levied a penalty of Rs 908 crore for violating foreign exchange rules against DMK MP S Jagathratchakan and his family. Properties worth Rs 89.19 crore have been confiscated following an adjudication order. The investigation focused on the MP, his family, and related Indian entities.
