Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh surrendered before a special court in connection with a 2001 street-protest case and was granted bail. The session court had dismissed their appeal, leading to a non-bailable warrant against Singh and others. He now awaits a revision petition hearing scheduled by the special court.
