J&K Elections 2024: The Congress announced nine candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, including Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Vikar Rasool Wani, and Sheikh Riaz. The party will contest in 32 seats as part of a seat-sharing agreement with the NC, who will contest in 51 seats. The elections will be held in three phases starting on September 18, with counting scheduled for October 4.
