Ravneet Singh Bittu, a BJP leader, has been elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan after all other candidates withdrew or were disqualified. The election was necessitated by the resignation of KC Venugopal from the Congress. Bittu will serve in the Rajya Sabha until June 21, 2026.
