BJP's Rajya Sabha poll candidates Rameswar Teli and Mission Ranjan Das elected unopposed, receiving winners' certificates. Elections held due to Sarbananda Sonowal and Kamakhya Prasad Tasa's Lok Sabha victories. Opposition parties did not field candidates. Candidates thanked party leadership for support. Teli, former Union minister, highlighted experience in Parliament and ministry. Das, a four-time MLA and senior BJP member, expressed confidence in raising relevant issues in Rajya Sabha.
