Ajit Prasad, son of Faizabad MP Awadhesh Prasad, was likely to be the Samajwadi Party candidate for the Milkipur constituency in the upcoming assembly bypolls. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav discussed his candidacy with party members. Although an official announcement is pending, Ajit's name has been finalized within the party.
