Aam Aadmi Party released its first set of candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Notable candidates include Fayaz Ahmed Sofi in Pulwama and Muddasir Hassan in Rajpora. Voting will occur in three phases on September 18, September 25, and October 1, with results on October 4.
