Ladki Bahin Scheme: Devendra Fadnavis announced that Maharashtra would launch the 'Ladki Bahin' scheme, offering Rs 1,500 monthly assistance to over one crore eligible women from August 17. The initiative, costing the state Rs 46,000 crore annually, was trialled with some women already receiving Rs 3,000. This scheme aligns with the 'Ladli Behna Yojana' in Madhya Pradesh.
