Manish Sisodia, ex-deputy chief minister of Delhi, called for the abolition of the governor's post, arguing it has become a hindrance to democracy and non-NDA governments. During an interaction, he highlighted the difficulties faced by bureaucrats and public services due to conflicts between the Lt Governor's office and the elected government in Delhi. Sisodia accused the Centre of eroding democratic rights and claimed these issues are affecting other states too.
