The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) has been given the new election symbol, 'key', by the Election Commission. The new symbol replaces the old'stick' symbol. SBSP president Om Prakash Rajbhar announced the change at a Lucknow party meeting, stating that the party has influence in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The SBSP has six MLAs in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and plans to contest the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar strongly.
