MVA seat-sharing talks have started; CM to be declared after results: Congress

By Economic Times - 3 months ago
Congress announced that the chief ministerial candidate for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance will be decided after the Maharashtra assembly elections. Despite ongoing seat-sharing talks, Congress emphasized that the priority is maintaining Maharashtra's self-respect. State Congress president Nana Patole criticized the ruling government's 'Laadki Bahin' scheme as a vote-grabbing tactic, highlighting the lack of support for women facing difficulties in Mumbai. The MVA alliance, including Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and NCP, will contest the elections unitedly.
