The Congress Party demanded the retraction of Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya's statement on Vinesh Phogat's disqualification. The minister had cited the Rs. 70.45575 lakhs spent on her as a deflection. Harish Salve will represent Phogat in the upcoming Court of Arbitration for Sport hearing. Phogat has retired from wrestling, expressing her sorrow and gratitude.
