The Lok Sabha formed a 21-member committee to examine the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, with an additional 10 members from the Rajya Sabha. Initiated after a heated debate, the bill aims to avoid interfering with mosques. The committee will report its findings by the next Parliament session’s first week. The opposition claims it targets Muslims and the Constitution.
