The government announced in the Lok Sabha that there were no plans for a law on electoral bonds for political party funding. Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal also stated that there were no proposals for the Election Commission to fund political parties, following the Supreme Court's annulment of the electoral bonds scheme in February.
