A Bengaluru court summoned Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy D K Shivakumar to appear on August 29. The case concerns their involvement in a June 2022 protest organized by the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee against the Enforcement Directorate's questioning of Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case, which allegedly disrupted public peace.
