View: Judge rules Google violated antitrust laws by maintaining its monopoly in search engine market

On Monday, District of Columbia judge Amit Mehta ruled that Google breached antitrust laws by maintaining its search engine monopoly. Mehta found that Google's practice of paying companies like Apple to make it the default search engine constituted an abuse of its dominant market position.
