The Madras High Court has ordered charges to be framed against Tamil Nadu ministers KKSSR Ramachandran and Thangam Thenarasu in disproportionate assets cases. Disregarding lower court decisions, Justice N Anand Venkatesh mandated the Special Court to proceed with the trials. Both ministers are scheduled to appear in court on September 9 and 11, respectively. The trials are to be expedited. The allegations stem from their terms as ministers for Health, Backward Classes, and School Education between 2006 and 2011, accusing them of accumulating wealth beyond their known sources of income.
