The Centre has denied Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's request for political clearance to visit Paris to support the Indian hockey team at the Olympic Games. Mann, who was scheduled to travel from August 3 to 9, had sought permission for the visit but was refused due to the challenges of arranging his Z-Plus security at short notice.
