Former BJP MP Maneka Gandhi has filed a petition with the Allahabad High Court challenging the election of Samajwadi Party MP Ram Bhual Nishad from Sultanpur Lok Sabha constituency. She has alleged that Nishad concealed information about his criminal history in his election affidavit. The petition is set to be heard on July 30. It seeks to have Nishad's election annulled and Maneka Gandhi declared as the winning candidate.
