Ahead of state elections, Maharashtra CM launches stipend scheme Ladka Bhau Yojana for youth
Chief Minister Shinde launched 'Ladka Bhau' Yojana, offering Rs 6,000, Rs 8,000, and Rs 10,000 for class 12 pass outs, diploma holders, and graduates, respectively, during apprenticeship. Funded by the state, this aims to address unemployment. This follows 'Majhi Ladki Bahin' scheme offering Rs 1,500/month to eligible women aged 21-60 years with family income annually capped at Rs 2.5 lakh.
