In bypolls across seven states, Congress and TMC won four seats each, BJP two, AAP, DMK, and an independent one each. Congress won in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, strengthening Sukhu's position; Ashish Sharma won BJP's seat. Independent LJP’s Shankar Singh won in Bihar. DMK took Vikravandi. JD(U) faced setback. Passed MLA Sarwat Karim Ansari's seat in Manglaur.
