TMC MP Mahua Moitra accused Union Minister Shantanu Thakur of facilitating smugglers on the India-Bangladesh border. She shared an image of a letter allegedly signed by Thakur permitting the transportation of 3 kg of beef, a claim dismissed by Thakur as baseless. Thakur stated that such passes were issued for local issues in border areas, prompting Moitra to continue her allegations supported by TMC IT Cell's Nilanjan Das.
