Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited Hathras' Vibhav Nagar area on July 2 to meet the families of the stampede victims. Some locals appreciated his visit amid the prevailing political activities. "Everyone is busy doing politics. It is good that at least someone bothered to come here," said Vineet Kumar, 26, who is preparing for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examination.
