Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition, visited Hathras to meet the grieving families affected by the recent stampede. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized the Congress MP for not visiting the families of victims in the Kallakurichi illicit liquor tragedy in Tamil Nadu. At least 121 devotees lost their lives in a stampede during a religious 'Satsang' event of self-styled godman Suraj Pal alias 'Bhole Baba' in Fulari village, Uttar Pradesh's Hathras, on Tuesday.
