BSP leader's killing: Chaos erupts in Chennai as party workers hold protest, halt traffic

Following the brutal killing of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Tamil Nadu unit President K Armstrong, chaos erupted outside Chennai's Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital where his body underwent autopsy. BSP workers protested, demanding justice and a CBI probe into the murder, accusing anti-social elements and criticizing Chief Minister MK Stalin's administration. The incident, where Armstrong was hacked near his residence in Perambur, prompted widespread condemnation. CM Stalin expressed condolences and assured swift police action, with eight suspects already detained. BSP Chief Mayawati condemned the killing, urging the state to swiftly punish the perpetrators.
