The Privileges Committee of the Rajya Sabha has found 12 opposition MPs, including AAP's Sanjay Singh, guilty of misconduct for disrupting House proceedings in August 2023. The panel accepted Singh's unconditional apology and recommended revocation of his suspension, considering the punishment suffered by him sufficient. The AAP MP was suspended from the Rajya Sabha on July 24, 2023, for breaching privilege, repeatedly violating rules, and casting aspersions on the leader of the House.
