Kiran Choudhry and her daughter Shruti Choudhry, prominent leaders in Haryana Congress, have resigned from the party citing governance issues and a perceived concentration of power under Bhupinder Singh Hooda. They will join BJP, delivering a blow to Congress ahead of state elections. Kiran Choudhry, an MLA from Tosham and part of the party for four decades, expressed disappointment over party leadership and stated her aim to continue serving people unencumbered.
