West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose wrote to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee questioning why police stopped alleged victims of post-poll violence from entering Raj Bhavan despite permission being issued. Bose visited Maheshwari Bhawan in Burrabazar to meet those affected by violence post Lok Sabha polls. The BJP has accused the TMC of post-poll violence, which the ruling party denies. The police prevented BJP's Suvendu Adhikari and victims from meeting Bose, citing Section 144.
