Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's remark on a priest as "ignorant" for criticizing the ruling Left for its defeat in the Lok Sabha polls has been condemned by the opposition Congress and the BJP. Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala mocked Vijayan's habit of terming priests "wretched creatures" and "ignorant," while BJP leader V Muraleedharan criticized Vijayan's intolerant attitude towards those who disagree with him.
