AIADMK chief Palaniswami said that the party had improved its performance in 2024 Lok Sabha polls compared to 2019. He taunted BJP's failure to secure majority independently. Rejecting alliance suggestions with the BJP, he said that the party would have had a winning potential had they joined hands with DMK. Criticising BJP leaders for insufficient support, he defended AIADMK's performance amidst challenges. He expressed confidence in winning the 2026 Assembly elections and dismissed an alliance with the BJP.
