West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the opposition INDIA bloc may not have claimed government today, but could do so in the future, emphasising a need for change and terming the BJP-led NDA government as weak and unstable. Banerjee stated that the country's mandate was against Narendra Modi, urging for a different prime minister. The TMC supremo also mentioned that her party will not attend the new government's swearing-in ceremony and will work towards repealing the Citizenship Amendment Act.
