BJP won power in Arunachal Pradesh for the third consecutive term, securing 46 seats in the 60-member assembly. NPP, an ally of BJP, also gained seats in the election. In Sikkim, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) returned to power for 2nd consecutive term, claiming 31 seats in the 32-member assembly.
