Over 2,000 personnel will oversee the vote counting process for the only Lok Sabha seat in Mizoram. There is a a three-tier security arrangement in place at all 13 counting centers. There will be a total of 40 counting halls with 379 counting tables, each supervised by a counting supervisor, agent, and micro observer. The counting will commence at 8 am on Tuesday, starting with postal ballots followed by EVM votes.
