The Election Commission of India held a press conference in Delhi on Monday, just a day before the vote counting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In a recent turn of events, the EC took action following a public statement by Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh on social media. Ramesh claimed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had contacted 150 District Magistrates just before the scheduled vote counting on June 4.
