By Economic Times - 6 months ago
CPI(M) accused Trinamool Congress workers of intimidating polling agents and engaging in electoral malpractices in various constituencies of West bengal. Incidents of threats, assault, and false voting were reported, with candidates alleging intimidation of party workers and supporters in places like Diamond Harbour and Kolkata Dakshin. TMC dismissed the accusations, claiming the CPI(M) was making excuses due to lack of representation in the state assembly or outgoing Lok Sabha.
