The Supreme Court reserved its verdict on a plea filed by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal challenging his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi excise case. The bench granted Kejriwal the liberty to apply for regular bail before a lower court. During the hearing, ED claimed to have discovered chats between Kejriwal and hawala operators related to alleged proceeds of crime, retrieved from the operators' devices. Kejriwal's counsel objected, alleging ED's suppression of this information.
