Defence Minister Rajnath Singh accused the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-led alliance of widespread corruption and oppression. He promised they would face consequences. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to lift millions out of poverty and criticised previous leaders for empty promises. Singh urged support for BJP candidate Sita Soren. Despite a slip-up, he rallied for votes against former CM Hemant Soren's reputation.
