Three Independent MLAs in Haryana have withdrawn their support for the ruling BJP-led government, Nayab Singh Saini, and have opted to support the Congress during the elections. The announcement was made at a press conference in Rohtak, attended by former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and State Congress chief Udai Bhan. The current strength of the Haryana Assembly is 88, with 40 BJP members.
