The aim of morality

By Economic Times - 7 months ago
Morality, the foundation of spiritual practice, is not the final destination but an essential beginning. It requires mental equilibrium and is often equated with leading a well-knit life. While morality varies based on circumstances, its ultimate goal is the attainment of Supreme Bliss. The aim is not merely to avoid specific actions like theft or lying but to eliminate the tendencies that lead to such actions. True morality leads to a state of Oneness with the divine, where desires for wrongdoing cease to exist.
