LS Polls: Voter turnout updated to 71.16% in Kerala

The Election Commission updated the polling percentage for the April 26 Lok Sabha polls in Kerala to 71.16 percent. The highest turnout was in Vadakara with 78.08 percent, while Pathanamthitta had the lowest at 63.35 percent. Approximately 1,65,205 voters used the vote-from-home facility, and 39,111 officials used postal voting. Voting was completed satisfactorily across the state, with machines performing well and minimal malfunctions. Storage of voting machines is underway, with counting scheduled for June 4.
