Shivpal Singh Yadav, Samajwadi Party's candidate for the Budaun Lok Sabha seat, has accused district officials of working for the BJP, threatening village heads and others to support the ruling party. He has lodged a complaint with the District Magistrate and threatened to approach the Election Commission if action is not taken. Responding to PM Modi's comment on Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav's alliance as a "flop show," Yadav defended them, stating that leaders never fail.
