Congress avoided responding to poll strategist Prashant Kishor's criticism of the grand old party. Kishor suggested structural issues under Rahul Gandhi's leadership and further recommended that Waynad MP should step back if election results won't come good for Congress. When asked about Kishor's remarks, Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said, "I do not answer on remarks by consultants. Talk about political people, what is there to answer on consultants?"
