Governor C V Ananda Bose of West Bengal stated in an interview that while law and order have not completely broken down in the state, violence in certain areas cannot solely be blamed on the present Trinamool Congress government and may be attributed to a "legacy of the past." He highlighted instances of violence, such as in Sandeshkhali, where he observed a concerning situation.
