After a tied election in Himachal Pradesh, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi has challenged the draw of lots rule interpretation by the poll officer. Despite having majority support, BJP nominee Harsh Mahajan won through draw of lots. Singhvi filed a petition in the high court, arguing the procedure's illogicality. Congress faced a crisis following their loss.
