The Congress party criticized the Narendra Modi government for its perceived weak response to China's renaming of 30 places in Arunachal Pradesh. Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari accused the government of showing a "weak and meek" attitude towards China and suggested that instead of focusing on issues like the Katchatheevu island, the government should address the Chinese aggression effectively.
