Congress leader Jairam Ramesh criticized the BJP, suggesting the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Jharkhand CM Champai Soren was an attack on democracy. Ramesh accused the BJP of being afraid of the INDIA alliance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, BJP's Delhi president Virendraa Sachdeva claimed the truth about Kejriwal's alleged involvement in the liquor scam would soon be revealed, stating that the law treats every criminal the same.
