Tamilisai Soundararajan, who recently resigned as the Governor of Telangana, has rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tamil Nadu. She expressed her desire to contest polls and return to active politics. President Droupadi Murmu accepted her resignation and appointed C P Radhakrishnan to discharge the duties of the Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry. Soundararajan's move comes ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, as political parties gear up for the electoral battle.
